Key Responsibilities:
  • Two-year degree (college/technical/vocational) or equivalent experience in electronics, telecommunications and/or computer technology is required.
  • Ability to logically troubleshoot and repair hardware and software associated with personal computers and peripherals devices.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, and associated peripherals and software components.
  • Must have demonstrated personal computer skills along with a general understanding of corporate applications and standard desktop products
  • Ability to work independently, self –starter with good time management skills.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service Skills
  • Responsible for installing standard, endorsed or certified off the shelf software and/or hardware devices, and provide minimal onsite training to get the client started.
  • Responsible for interfacing with the customer and other IT groups related to problems and installations as appropriate.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to billing and performance processes and procedures.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Technical acumen with personal computers (troubleshooting, imaging, etc.)
  • Effective oral and written communications skills
  • Strong Customer Services skills
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office
  • Telecommunications skills
  • Working knowledge of Video conferencing technology using Skype for Business
  • Understanding of a variety of hardware and display standards
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision
  • Exhibits Southern Style in all business dealings
  • Seeks opportunities to learn and transfer knowledge to others
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Willingness to provide as needed after hours or on-call support
  • Follows safe work practices
