Immediate need for a talented Scrum Master with one of our Airline client. This is a 12+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dallas, TX. Please review the job description below.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibits servant leadership to facilitate the Scrum Team in delivering on its forecasted commitments.
  • Helps the Scrum Team identify, escalate, and eliminate impediments.
  • Protects the Scrum Team from outside influences that could disrupt their work flow.
  • Manages risks and issues at the Scrum Team level.
  • Enables and fosters Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the Scrum Team.
  • Radiates Scrum Team information to stakeholders (includes Product Owner and Management)
  • Accountable for facilitating Scrum Team ceremonies (i.e. sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, sprint retrospective, story review, etc.)
  • Coach team towards Agile maturity and use of best practices.
  • Deliver timely reporting and other communication regarding team’s progress.
  • College degree in Technology, Finance, Business or similar degree preferred
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • 5 or more years professional experience in Technology related project work preferred required.
  • 3 or more years professional experience working in a dedicated Scrum Master role required.
  • Knowledge of issues/risk management and project change requests required.
  • Minimum 3 years working in an Agile environment
  • Experience as a Scrum Master in a Kan Ban environment preferred.
  • SAFe agile exp is preferred.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues in a structured and concise manner.
  • Able to research, create, and document requirements, processes, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to persuade and build consensus with various teams and/or external partners
  • Ability to overcome bureaucratic obstacles to help team accomplish goals
  • Proven negotiating and consensus building abilities; ability to persuade individuals through use of data and analytics
  • Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment
  • Proven ability to manage complex vendor, supplier, sub-contractor relationships
  • CSM is a plus, but not required.
  • Advanced knowledge of project processes, problem management tools and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Project, Visio, MS Office Suite including SharePoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of technology applications and systems infrastructure.
  • Proficient knowledge of application impact on operational and business functions.
  • Strong Customer Service and Team orientation.
  • Demonstrates and employs active listening skills.
  • Builds relationships and influences without authority.
  • Effectively communicates information and ideas using all forms of communication.
  • Maintains composure under pressure and accurately assesses problem situations.
  • Directs tasks to finish by scheduled completion date.
  • Reorders job priorities for Team and self as needed.
  • Works effectively in a fast paced, collaborative, Team based environment.
  • Demonstrates Leadership skills to direct performance of outside Contractors and maintain positive relationships with internal Customers.
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
