Key Responsibilities:
- A typical day involves processing applications and reapplications from healthcare providers, which includes verifying providers' education, licenses, certifications, and insurance, then accurately entering all details into a database.
- This position would review emails and respond accordingly.
- The person in this position pays close attention to detail, initiates calls and respond to emails.
- Skills-Credentialing, quality, healthcare, data entry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications; Office 365, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint.
- Prefer additional experience in Provider data management and analysis.
- Credentialing, knowledge of NCQA, CMS standards.
- Associate or Bachelors degree pref, high school diploma/equivalent required and 1+ years of data entry, customer service, medical office, provider data management, credentialing or healthcare operations (i.e. claims processing, billing, provider relations or contracting) experience, preferably in a managed care or insurance environment.
