Video Operations Engineer

Pay Range: $50 - $52 /hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities :

• Manage video operations (authentication, onboarding, VOD, DVR, entitlements, channel lineup, caching, metadata)
• Monitor service health, alerts, dashboards for performance & availability
• Support production deployments, releases, and post-deployment validation
• Troubleshoot complex production issues (video delivery, middleware, customer access)
• Validate data flows across customer systems, middleware, and video platforms
• Deploy and support backend services on AWS & containers
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure issue resolution
• Conduct capacity planning & scalability assessments

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Must Have Skills: Video streaming platforms & backend video services
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, Datadog, ELK
• AWS Cloud
• Docker, Kubernetes (containerized services)
• Production support & troubleshooting
• Experience in video device architecture & service design validation
• Strong understanding of end-to-end video ecosystem
