Job Requirements of Accounting Specialist:
Key Responsibilities:
- Processes transactions, reconciles and maintains various accounts and ledgers.
- Transactions processed and maintained may include accounts payable, journal vouchers, vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, ledgers, statements, billings, and/or other accounting documents.
- Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions processed.
- Conducts research on discrepancies and makes appropriate corrections or adjustments.
- Responds to and resolves inquiries.
- Posts data and/or checks and verifies data.
- Runs and prepares routine financial reports and analyses.
- Candidate will review reimbursement requests along with card administration tasks.
- They will also be opening some new card accounts but mainly working in travel and expense.
- Candidate will work from a que within system called REIMBURSE ME.
- They will work from oldest expense reports to newest.
- SLA is to get them completed within 5 days.
- Based on volume they will know how many to complete each day in some cases around 50 a day.
- Will only communicate with Internal contacts and may answer an email or 2 from a bank employee, but no customer contact is required with this role.
- They will be working with a team of 7 with 5 in this location and 2 in another.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-Accounting, Workday, administration.
- Time management, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication, MS Office Basic User ability.
- Flexibility
- HS diploma and experience is great.
- Can train someone right out of school with the thorough 3-week training program.
