AEM Software Engineer

Pay Range: $85 - $90/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills:AEM 6.5, Java Development, CMS Platform .
• Minimum 6 years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java backend development.
• Hands-on experience with AEM 6.5, including architecture, component development, and debugging.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance.
• Strong communication skills to interact with engineers, PMs, and other stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Develop and maintain backend services for the existing AEM CMS.
• Debug and triage issues within the CMS platform.
• Ensure system stability while the new CMS is being built.
• Optimize and fine-tune platform performance.
• Work independently to resolve issues and contribute to feature development.
• Participate in team discussions and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage dependencies and update outdated components as needed.
• Support deployment processes, as there is no separate DevOps or platform team.
