Key Responsibilities:
- This role focuses on reaching out by phone to Medicaid members under the health plan and offering them enrollment into our Disease Management Health Coaching program.
- It’s a phone-based position that requires comfort speaking with people and using technology at the same time.
- Daily responsibilities include making outbound calls (45-50 calls a day), documenting conversations in our systems, following program guidelines, and creating a positive, supportive experience for each member.
- New hires start by getting access to all the necessary systems and reviewing expectations with their supervisor and a preceptor.
- They also complete required training online.
- On Day 3, the new hire begins a 3- to 4-week training journey with the Training Department before transitioning to working independently.
- There is a weekly productivity metric that each team member is expected to meet.
- New hires receive weekly quality evaluations for their calls—six in total during their onboarding phase.
- After onboarding, call quality is evaluated once per quarter.
- In addition, we conduct a monthly documentation audit to make sure the charting is complete and accurate.
- Time management, consistent performance, and professionalism are expected from day one.
- This role combines healthcare knowledge with customer service skills.
- It’s ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, has a strong attention to detail, and can manage their time well.
- Because this role is part of a program that helps support members living with chronic conditions, each call has the potential to make a real difference.
- We look for candidates with at least 1–2 years of clinical, pharmacy, or hospital customer service experience.
- This is a great fit for someone who is tech-savvy, self-directed, and wants to work in a role that blends healthcare and human connection.
- Skills-Outbound Calls High Volume, Call Center Healthcare or Medical and Member or Patient Outreach
- 2+ years of RECENT High Volume Outbound Call Center/Customer ServiceExperience in healthcare/medical setting. (Member/Patient Outreach)
- Strong attention to detail, Time & Task management in remote setting, Tech-savvy, and self-directed
- Problem Solving, Technical Proficiency (Ability to navigate multiple systems), Strong Typing Skills for documentation, Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, One Note, TEAMS), and Multitasking skills.
- Due to HIPAA, a reliable home internet connection (a hard-wired internet connection) with a dedicated workspace is required.
- Proof of Education: High School/GED or higher is REQUIRED. Must have an on-hand copy of HSD/GED/Transcript.
- Attendance/Reliability needed. Attendance is mandatory - no time off allowed during training.
