Key Responsibilities:

• The RT/Cardiovascular Technician assists the cardiologist radiologist in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab in the performance of invasive procedures and provides a safe environment of the patient.
• The RT/CVT will also participate in monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating duties.
• Keeps up to date on new procedures, equipment and exam protocols, and assists with maintaining supply inventory at acceptable levels.
• Operates equipment safely and maintains ALARA standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of the RT/CVT’s practice.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Must Have: ("LAB TECH" OR "LAB TECHNICIAN" OR "LAB ASSISTANT" OR "CATH LAB TECH" ) AND(CATH OR CARDIOLOGY OR CARDIAC OR CARDIOVASCULAR ) AND (ARRT OR CVT OR RCIS )
• Education in a school of Cardiovascular Technology.
• CVT/RCIS or ARRT.
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications as a Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association).
• Additional Info:
• 6a-2:30p
• 8 hour shifts
• 1 year recent Experienced Cardiovascular Techs or experienced ARRT’s
• MUST LIVE WITHIN 30 mins to take ON CALL
• 10 call shifts per month
