Digital Communications Specialist

Pay Range: $22 - $24/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Shifts: 8 AM – 5 PM / 9 AM - 6 PM (Mon-Fri). - No OT required.
• Team supports the Medicare public sites.  Contractors are needed in order to provide support with 2026 AEP (Annual Enrollment Period) site content development and QA efforts.
• Day-to-day within this role may vary based on daily needs and priorities.
• Tasks include website content management (implementing content to websites or making website updates) and site QA.
• Contractor will work closely with Manager and other Digital Communication Specialists to understand daily tasks and priorities. 
• Develop content campaigns using digital vehicles to support goals of the organization.
• Manage digital media and social media campaigns aligned with business goals.
• Create and manage website materials and content.
• Manage and track e-campaigns.
• Expand web presence to boost brand awareness and support initiatives.
• Execute on social media editorial calendar.
• Manage social media channels including: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube.
• Create graphic materials for use in digital and print campaigns.
• Draft media advisories and pitch media and about various content campaigns and respond to inquiries from the media and public.
• Ensure consistency in messaging and style manual.
• Monitor and archive news, press clips, and information.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:  

• Key skills; 3+ years of experience in Digital Communications or a related field.
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Sitecore (3+ years).
• Proven experience in web and/or digital content management, preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry (3+ years).
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric mindset and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, English, Business, or related area preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, e-mail campaigns, web content management systems, Salesforce or related CRM platform, and social media platforms.
• Familiarity with web design and SEO.
• Excellent analytical and project management skills.
• Additional qualification in web design is a plus.
• Outgoing, positive professional with the ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• Innovative and a quick learner.
• Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge and a good understanding of the public relations, social media and marketing field.
• Basic photography skills.
