Senior DevOps Engineer

Pay Range: $65 - $67/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; Jenkins, CICD Pipeline, AWS and DevSecops.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Artifactory, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (DataDog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security principles.
• Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS Native Services, and Serverless Technologies (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM)).
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across development and production environments.
• Built security telemetry and alerting with SIEM/SOAR (Splunk, Sentinel, Elastic, Datadog, Panther,
• Chronicle).
• Solid knowledge of network security: VPC design, routing, NAT, firewalls, WAF, egress controls, private endpoints, and service-to-service mTLS.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software.
• Implement security best practices in deployment and infrastructure.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and standards.
• High levels of engagement at the team and group levels; Desire to learn and impact outside your primary tasking.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist
• (CKS), or CISSP is a plus
