Technical Project Manager

Pay Range: $50 - $60/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Project & Release Management
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee software releases and deployments across environments.
• Work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to define release scope and timelines.
• Manage release calendars, risk assessments, and Go/No-Go decisions.
• Ensure releases meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.
• Change Management
• Oversee the change management process to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Work with stakeholders to assess and approve change requests.
• Maintain compliance with organizational change control policies and procedures.
• Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings as needed.
• Application Management
• Oversee the lifecycle of enterprise applications, including upgrades, patches, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve application issues.
• Ensure SLAs are met for application availability, reliability, and support.
• Manage vendor relationships for third-party application support and licensing.
• Stakeholder Communication
• Act as the primary liaison between business units, technical teams, and leadership.
• Provide clear project updates, dashboards, and documentation.
• Conduct post-release reviews and continuous improvement sessions.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Application development, change management, JIRA
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Overall 10+ years of PM experience and recent 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
• Proven experience in release and change management within an Agile or DevOps environment.
• Strong understanding of application lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment
