Claims Analyst/Data Analyst

Pay Range: $20 - $21/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Shift (Start/End Time): Start: 8:00am - End: 5:00pm CST Lunch is 1 hour
• From the manager: During training Cameras must be on and the Employee must be in front of the camera where we can see from their shoulders up.
• Note: This is a remote position that will require you to have a location that is free from all distractions and secure as you will be discussing people private information. 
• Process intake backlog for Federal Independent Dispute Request (IDR) process. Data entering submissions into tracking log. NSA claims special projects
• Daily interaction with supervisor/team members
• Remote therefore utilizes Microsoft team to communicate.
• Weekly meetings sometimes with CAMERAS ON
• Production driven, fast pace
• Open Negotiation Request inventory backlog
• Maintain Federal No Surprises Act process
• Resource needs to clean up backlog related to previously processed claims
• This role is validating members and understanding claims. Helps you understand how customers are protected.
• It’s 3 different areas of collaboration so very cohesive as a team. ONR team validates, IDR teams review billing, then claims route to Claims Specialist
• The value is bringing own background experience and their knowledge/expertise about claims. This helps understanding history of ONR.

 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:  

• Key skills; Excel experience, Amisys Claims, Data Entry
• Amisys Claims experience (2-5 years)
• No proficient Excel experience
• High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years’ experience required
• Excel experience (1-2 years)
• Data Analytics
• Healthcare experience
• MUST be able to verify benefits (medical field experience)
• Proficient Excel experience
• Multi-Tasking skills,  Ability to think outside the box.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Preferred: Claims Processing
