Production/Broadcast Engineer

Pay Range: $55 - $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Can you tell me about this position and the day-to-day activities?
•  Break/fix to break
•  EVS, studios, production control rooms
•  Walk to all control rooms, check in with director TM, check for okays or perform fixes.
• Will have special projects, maintenance, cleaning, call support, working with others for updates on environment.
• 4 Working Days: 10 hour shifts - Wed - Sat OR Sun - Wed.
• Shift timings:Shift to change - 8 to 6 OR 9 to 7
• Perform system-level troubleshooting of technical facilities, including control rooms, studio equipment, audio equipment, and associated computer systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on studio and control room equipment.
• Assist Studio Operations with technical setup in control rooms and studios.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to implement technical solutions that meet production initiatives.
• Install and update equipment and systems software.
• Repair and troubleshoot equipment to the module level using industry-standard test equipment.
• Manage projects, design systems, and assist with system integration and commissioning.

• NEEDS STRONG BROADCAST ENGINEER EXERIENCE
•  Production/broadcast/studio engineer/technician background
•  Worked with professional cameras, large routing systems, knows technical work
•  Works with transmission group
•  Works with systems engineer group
•  Work with post production
•  EVS, Evertz, routing, RTS, Calrec, Avid, Chyron, 21 Ten
•  Core routing, and everything to do with it
•  Sony cameras and switchers
