Key Responsibilities:
- Lead routine maintenance and repair tasks in and around the building, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Lead development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules to extend the life of building systems and equipment.
- Lead regular inspections to identify and address safety hazards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Schedule and prioritize preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
- Diagnose and repair building systems and equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for building maintenance tasks.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to building occupants.
- Record and maintain detailed audit records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, materials used, and inspections.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for the maintenance team.
- Generate and present reports on maintenance metrics, equipment status and resource utilization.
- Operate computerized Energy Management systems.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and maintenance concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service. Respond to fix requests/problems in a timely and courteous manner
- Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all policies and standards.
- Key Skills: Building Maintenance, Repair, Routine & Preventive Maintenance, Building Systems & Building Codes, Electrical Equipment Knowledge or Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience Required.
- Proven experience in building maintenance, construction, or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems. Significant commercial electrical experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
