Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex surgical specimen gross examination and dissection
- Assist in autopsy and postmortem examinations
- Conduct frozen sections and tumor triage
- Perform specimen photography and documentation
- Support pathology quality assurance initiatives
- Collaborate directly with board-certified Pathologists
- Ensure regulatory compliance with California lab law
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Allied Health Sciences
- Pathologists’ Assistant Certification (ASCP) or eligible
- Experience in surgical pathology grossing
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to work in hospital-based laboratory setting
