Pay Range: $75 - $80/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• his is a temporary resource needed to help urgently resolve a longstanding core issue with enterprise monitoring.
• The Site Reliability Engineer will do control testing, alert Client, chaos tests, fault simulation, and signal accuracy validation.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Gremlin, Litmus
• Alert signal fidelity testing
• Gitlab experience
• Knowledge on NIST 800-137
• (Vendor should not submit any candidate that does not have these skills/prior experience.)
• Chaos testing and synthetic injection (Gremlin, Litmus)
• Alert signal Client testing
• Tool resiliency benchmarking
• Distributed tracing validation
• Top 5 failure simulation test suite
• Alert Client reports (signal-to-noise)
• Chaos test documentation for future re-use
• Red/yellow/green vendor heatmap based on detection speed
• Alert fatigue index by tool/vendor
• Plus/Nice to Have Sklls/Prior Experiences:
• (- DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience. However, candidates with any of these will be looked at first.)
• Gitlab experience
• Knowledge on NIST 800-137
