Key Responsibilities:
- Receives and responds to incoming customer/agent/employer inquiries.
- Communicates with customers, field staff, service centers, internal/external sales support and other industry companies through oral and written communication.
- Maintains current knowledge of contract and product provisions and administration of the Plan, and the processing systems related.
- Resolves routine errors requiring corrective processing.
- Demonstrates the ability to identify situations that require advanced technical knowledge or exception processing and refers the situation to a Supervisor.
- Reviews, research, and interprets records and reports to accurately make decisions.
- Decision making skill necessary for customer contacts.
- Ability to identify and evaluate problems and analyze customer inquiries and determines appropriate action.
- Performs other duties as requested.
- Skills-Financial/ Insurance background, Customer Service / Calls handling and Bachelor OR Associates Degree.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Time Management skills.
- Basic typing and computer skills.
- Background in customer service, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and written communications.
- The ability to work within a team and independently.
- High attention to detail.
- Securities Industry Essentials license required to convert to becoming a NW employee.
Then the Series 6 is required. - Although NW doesn't cover the cost of the SIE, we do pay for the study materials and exam for the Series 6.
- To become a NW employee an associate’s degree is accepted however a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- We do require mandatory overtime typically each quarter and the day after a holiday.
- We are working a Hybrid model - 1 week in the office, 1 week home however contingent workers will be added to the hybrid rotation after in-person training and when we deem appropriate.
- Background check and drug test required.
