Pharmacy Technician Representative

Pay Range: $19 - $20/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Select and retrieve appropriate medications.
• Verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles.
• Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription based programs.
• Select appropriate packing materials and prepare packages for shipment.
• Require walking, standing, and repetitive up and down lifting of boxes weighing 35lb and repetitive pulling of prescriptions 95% of the work time.
• Enclose client specified materials to orders.
• Affix shipping labels on packages and sort by carrier.
• Clean equipment and replenish workstation supplies like pill bottles, caps, boxes, and paper.
• Assist pharmacist with deliveries, inventory control, equipment cleaning, and inbound phone calls.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills: Pulling and packing medication ,A valid CA Pharmacy Technician license required ,Ability to lift up to 35 pound packages .
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years of experience that is relevant to the role.
• A valid CA Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Basic math skills and general PC knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience working on your feet in a physical role and ability to lift up to 35 pound packages.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times.
• Willingness and ability to learn internal systems/processes as needed.
• Works well in team environment.
• Pulling and packing medication.
• Comes to work as scheduled (9am - 6pm).
• High School diploma or GED required.
• A valid CA Pharmacy Technician license required .
