Build/Release Software Engineer (AOSP/Firmware)
Immediate need for a talented Build/Release Software Engineer (AOSP/Firmware). This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in U.S.(Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $80 - $85/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidates will aid in the running release process for devices.
- Responsibilities include facilitating builds, monitoring failures, triage bugs and breaks, facilitating communication between engineers and QA and facilitating merging and movement of code between release branches.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-Python, Jenkins, CI/CD, Build System AOSP.
- Remote- PST Time Preferred.
- Very good Comm skills.
- knowledge of CI/CD and Devops process.
- Experience in Triaging and Release process.
- Development experience (preferably Python).
- Basic understanding of SQL (shall be good into writing basic SQL like select statements and joins)
- 4 to 8 years of experience in Infrastructure Development.
- Experience working in Agile Software Development models, should be able to investigate epics, create user stories for Infra deliverables.
- Proficient managing build systems (i.e. Make, CMake, Buck, Scons) supporting Linux, MacOS, Windows, RTOS, and AOSP.
- Experience enabling and troubleshooting automated Continuous Integration - build and testing infrastructure such as Jenkins.
- Experienced being in on-call rotations for monitoring CI Infra.
- Basic experience in Python, Shell scripting - Should be able to read and understand code functionality, fix issues in existing code and perform code reviews with the team.
- Experienced working with source code - VCS such as Git / Hg, IDEs such as VS Code / PyCharm
- Experience working in Linux Dev Environment.
- Good to have - Knowledge of Firmware/Driver builds and build procedure.
