Key Responsibilities:
- Shift: 10-hour Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), Monday through Friday (with call)
- Duration: 13 weeks (05/18/2026 – 08/15/2026)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Overtime: Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier); Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)
- On-Call: Yes (as required)
- Assist physicians with electrophysiology studies (EPS) and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Set up and operate EP recording systems, mapping systems, and ablation equipment
- Monitor patients' hemodynamic status during procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, equipment, and supplies
- Assist with device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders) as needed
- Document procedural events, hemodynamic data, and equipment usage accurately
- Ensure radiation safety and infection control standards are maintained
- Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with the electrophysiology team to respond to emergency situations
- Maintain and troubleshoot EP and cath lab equipment
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Must-Have Skills:Minimum 2 years of recent experience within Electrophysiology/Cardiac Cath specialty
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- Experience in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Proficiency with EP equipment and mapping systems
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program
- Licensure/Certification:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required
- ARRT (R) or RCES – preferred
- Experience with EP studies, ablations, and device implants
- Proficiency with EP mapping systems and recording equipment
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience within Electrophysiology/Cardiac Cath specialty – required
- Excellent sterile technique and infection control practices
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced procedural setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and hemodynamic
