Job Requirements of Member Services Representative (Holiday Loan Processing):
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working directly with Loan Officers and client’s Credit Union members to make the Holiday Loan experience the best it can be.
- Collects data and documentation for loan applications in compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures and NCUA regulations
- Inputs data in LINK loan origination system
- Closes and disburses loan funds
- Cross sells additional loan products
- Completes electronic documents
- Processes mail, faxes and emails
- May work a rotating Saturday schedule
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Skills-High school diploma or GED required ,Must pass applicable client’s pre-hire compliance checks and Must have an acceptable credit history, which will be verified.
- Looking for a candidate that has Consumer Lending experience
- The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Level of education and/or equivalent, relevant experience
- Proficiency
- Ability to work independently and/or amount of direction needed
- Scope and complexity of work
- Level of authority and latitude in making decisions.
- Previous lending experience in a credit union, bank or finance company
- Previous knowledge of Synapsys, LINK and Episys systems
- Previous understanding of pay statements, tax returns, vehicle purchase orders and credit reports
- Previous experience in a sales-culture environment.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
- Ability to exercise excellent member and customer service skills
- Possess above-average professional telephone skills
- Ability to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team
- Above average ability to interact professionally with all employees and members
- Ability to adapt well to change
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels both verbally and written
- Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and analyze data
- Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance.
