Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-Network, Switch & Router
- Experienced in engineering and managing large scale enterprise infrastructure technologies for wired/wireless client connectivity over routed and switch infrastructure
- Experience operating and deploying fabric networks in Campus environments using Cisco Catalyst Center.
- Experiencing deploying and operating Cisco Campus Chassis and Stack switches. Network Engineering and Troubleshooting skills:
- Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, VRF
- Switched Protocols: Spanning-Tree, Router Redundancy protocols Monitoring Protocols: SNMP, Syslog, Telemetry
- Knowledge of endpoint authentication mechanisms for Campus Wired and Wi-Fi endpoints and related protocols.
- Knowledge of modern Wi-Fi communication protocols and standards.
- Solid experience managing Wireless Controllers and Wireless Access Points Knowledge of common network services (DNS/DHCP/HTTP/SSH)
- Familiarity with python3, ansible playbooks and REST API.
- Experience implementing code upgrades and hotfix on various platforms.
- Provide technical support and assistance during on-call period and for impacting issues. Familiarity with network observability and monitoring systems
