Program Manager

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Key Skills: Must have led programs by creating and owning the processes based on socialization and feedback that result in the improvements or insights desired as outcomes.
  • Must have experience working with and presenting to multiple levels of leaders in dispersed geographies.
  • Must have experience working with engineers and engineering leaders and a deep enough understanding of engineering concepts to be able to lead engineering programs on their behalf and in collaboration with them.
  • Must have led programs by creating and owning the processes based on socialization and feedback that result in the improvements or insights desired as outcomes.
  • Must have experience working with and presenting to multiple levels of leaders in dispersed geographies.
  • Must have experience working with engineers and engineering leaders and a deep enough understanding of engineering concepts to be able to lead engineering programs on their behalf and in collaboration with them.
  • Must be able to operate programs without having a lack of being technical as a caveat for being limited in scope.
  • The Tech Table - continue to drive the value that this program offers to our associates and chapter leaders by driving participation through a fresh Confluence page and quarterly email drives and leading presentations to grow up and out to the rest of CTG.
  • Secrets in Code - help to redefine and continually refine the process of gathering the important details required to enable us to eradicate Secrets in Code and prevent them from getting into our code going forward.
  • Engineering KPI achievement - help us track our KPI's and work with all CL's to guide them toward achievement for CTG .
  • Workstream Project Management - support the CL's leading each Engineering Workstream, many of which are owning Engineering KPI's.
  • Engineering Dashboard creation - Work with the Chapter Area leadership to define the Dashboards needed to track and build a stronger engineering community and Engineering Excellence (beyond SSPD).
  • Engineering Events/Hackathon - Support Chapter Area leadership in running Engineering Events such as the annual Hackathon through project management, organization, communication, coordination, and conflict resolution.
  • Small ad-hoc tasks - Take on other Engineering Tasks as assigned such as 2025 roadmap, KPI tracking, and general communication, tracking and follow up activities.
  • Basis in Engineering (understanding what Python is and how it’s used, Kubernetes, EKS, Data Dog, etc).
  • Intellectual curiosity to go find out Secrets in code (ECS will drop new rules which creates new rules.
  • We have a process to track our progress in addressing) “Wants to help” mentality and is eager to understand .
  • Must have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Advanced Mathematics or equivalent education and work experience
  • Must have led programs by creating and owning the processes based on socialization and feedback that result in the improvements or insights desired as outcomes
  • Must have experience working with and presenting to multiple levels of leaders in dispersed geographies
  • Must have experience working with engineers and engineering leaders and a deep enough understanding of engineering concepts to be able to lead engineering programs on their behalf and in collaboration with them.
  • Must be able to operate programs without having a lack of being technical as a caveat for being limited in scope.
  • Should have demonstrated skill in performing data analysis to produce executive-level communications on the status of engineering programs.
  • As such, should have experience with data visualization concepts.
  • You own the process and outcomes for engineering programs.
  • You working well with various levels of leadership to understand the goals of various programs, collaborate on how to measure progress, and lead in the creation of solutions that work for most, if not all.
  • You can analyze data, draw insights, identify, and resolve potential issues or inconsistencies.
  • You possess a solid attention to detail along with strong verbal and written communication skills that results in high quality, highly reliable information and messaging.
  • You are a quick learner and open to learning and being coached on process re-engineering and communication.
