Key Responsibilities:
- The Multifamily UX team is an important part of our Customer Experience team.
- On top of traditional CX and the analysis of measurement and metrics, we are a trusted partner in our digital transformation, responsible for UX and HCD.
- We ensure that the design of our technical solutions represent and meet the needs of our customers by gaining a true appreciation for them and putting them at the center of our decision-making process.
- The team provides perspective, ideas, as well as concepts through prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, usability tests, etc.
- Together, we influence the direction, prioritization, and development within our agile teams.
- We believe that a design system should emerge from the needs of our teams and are looking for a strong
- Design System Engineer excited to put users first.
- You will be part of a team with extensive ownership and the ability to help set best practices and contribute to improvements.
- As a craft leader, you'll be responsible for contributing to the vision, strategy, and development of the OneRoof design system.
- You will advocate for our reusable design elements and its corresponding code to improve efficiency, scalability, standardization across enterprise applications.
- Additionally, you will be proactive in spearheading new initiatives, coding, and documenting components, building design system tooling to improve workflows and overseeing UI component design while providing timely feedback in reviews to improve system guidelines.
- You will think and plan strategically for short and long-term initiatives to continue shaping the product.
- Key Skills:Angular 17, Angular Components, google Material .
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Design preferred or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 4-7+ years of experience with front-end development and 2+ years of experience building design systems.
- Experience in front-end software development using the AngularJS framework Strong TypeScript and CSS skills.
- Experience developing and integrating design systems or component libraries assisting front-end developers.
- Expert at building design tokens.
- Experience with accessible systems.
- Comfortable with CI/CD and monorepo tooling .
- Able to collaborate, understand, and work with UX design, Agile product development, and architecture teams .
- Experience with Figma, Storybook or other Design System Management tools.
- Proficient at writing technical documentation.
- Strong consultation, facilitation, and social skills, to include a sense of humor .
- Collaborate across the team while developing mutually beneficial relationships across our organization and customer base.
- Eagerness to influence and mature a growing design system practice
- Possess a deep curiosity to learn about new trends and how to do things different and better
- Comfortable in the space between no longer and not yet .
