Pay Range: $25 - $28/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Shift: M-F 2:30PM-11PM 5x8s .
• The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments, trays, and equipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining infection control standards and supporting surgical and clinical teams.
• Decontaminate, clean, and disinfect instruments using manual and mechanical processes.
• Operate equipment such as sonic washers, cart washers, and steam sterilizers.
• Assemble and inspect surgical trays and instrument packs.
• Apply sterilization wrappers and operate heat sealers.
• Accurately label, document, and monitor sterilization cycles.
• Restock sterile supplies and maintain inventory.
• Retrieve used instruments and transport them for reprocessing.
• Build and check surgical case carts per preference lists.
• Assist with departmental training and respond to emergency codes.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-CRCST, , Sterilizing in OR,  2+ years of Central service experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Central Service/Sterile Processing experience.
• Knowledge of sterilization methods (Steam, Sterrad, etc.).
• Ability to recognize and process a wide variety of surgical instruments.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRCST certification required (Certified Registered Central Service Technician).
