Lead Data Scientist.

Immediate need for a talented Lead Data Scientist. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in U.S.(Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $80 - $85/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Data Scientist
• Machine Learning (use of SageMaker or use of any other tools like Data Robot, or any experience with Client Ops)
• Hands-on Python (must be very good and comfortable using it)
• Great communication
• Generative AI is OK to NOT have - but it will be a good way to identify a good candidate because if the candidate has not done even a home project in AI, means he is not keeping up.
• Should have some familiarity atleast. CSS has started building applications using Gen AI, so any exp with Gen AI or LLM (large language models)
• Data Engineering/AWS – familiarity is ok. Otherwise don’t bother. (mentioning this since last time it was very important) – we can even totally ignore this.
• Need someone very strong on the Data Science side.
• If the person is very strong in the data science/Client side he will bring them on.
• The Data scientist will know Client.
• They will be using Client and AI technologies to solve business problems.
• Python will be very imp since it will be the main programming language.
• AWS is OK to not have. Glue/snowflake/redshift is ok to not have.
• Communication should be very good – some technical folks are not able to communicate with key stakeholders, but this person will need to be very customer focused, will work with business people to understand problems, and then translate that into a Client problem, and then this candidate will work with Engineers and other folks to solve these problems.
• So communication is key in order to work with both business + tech folks.
