Credentialing Specialist I
Immediate need for a talented Credentialing Specialist I. This is a 03+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in CA(Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $22 - $23/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift: 7-3:30 PST or 8-430
- Minimal o.t. may be required as identified.
- Monitor the queue and process for the credentialing and re-credentialing of various providers
- Prepare files for credentialing documentation
- Generate letters to providers in accordance with departmental workflows
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding credentialing status
- Provide various administrative support to the Credentialing function
- Ensure all credentialing files are prepared for Credentialing Committee meetings
- Accessing and performing primary source verification, including saving documents to PDF, folder, etc.
- Processing internal/external emails.
- Responding to emails internally and externally. Researching provider info.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; 1-2 experience in credentialing/call center, CAQH, NPDB.
- Knowledge of state regulations.
- Education/Experience: Associate’s degree, or high school diploma/equivalent and 1+ years of data entry, customer service, medical office, provider data management, credentialing or healthcare operations (i.e. claims processing, billing, provider relations or contracting) experience, preferably in a managed care or insurance environment.
