Financial Services Representative
Immediate need for a talented Financial Services Representative. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Troy NY (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $18 - $19/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Note: 1 week onsite / 1-week WFH
- This position is responsible for providing exposure to both Sales and Service for New York Deferred Compensation Plan.
- Receives and responds to incoming customer/agent/employer inquiries.
- Communicates with customers, field staff, service centers, internal/external sales support and other industry companies through oral and written communication.
- 3Maintains current knowledge of contract and product provisions and administration of the Plan, and the processing systems related.
- Resolves routine errors requiring corrective processing.
- Demonstrates the ability to identify situations that require advanced technical knowledge or exception processing and refers the situation to a supervisor.
- Reviews, research, and interprets records and reports to accurately make decisions.
- Decision making skill necessary for customer contacts.
- Ability to identify and evaluate problems and analyze customer inquiries and determines appropriate action.
- Performs other duties as requested
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

- Bachelor / Associate Degree Required
- Financial/Insurance Background
- Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Time Management skills
- Basic typing and computer skills
- Background in customer service, preferred
- Strong interpersonal and written communications
- The ability to work within a team and independently.
- High attention to detail.
