Pay Range: $70-$78/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities
- Design Operations & Program Leadership
- Lead and manage complex, cross-functional design programs and operational initiatives with minimal oversight
- Translate ambiguous problems into clear plans, operating models, and scalable processes
- Establish and maintain operational rhythms (planning, intake, prioritization, tracking, reporting)
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks; proactively propose and implement solutions
- Systems, Tools & Coda Administration
- Serve as a Coda administrator and power user for design operations workflows
- Build, maintain, and optimize Coda docs, automations, dashboards, and integrations to support planning, resourcing, and execution
- Partner with stakeholders to evolve tools and systems as organizational needs change
- Ensure data quality, usability, and adoption across design teams
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a trusted operations partner to design leaders, product partners, and adjacent operations functions
- Drive alignment across teams by clarifying ownership, dependencies, and decision-making frameworks
- Communicate progress, risks, and insights clearly to senior stakeholders
- Strategic Enablement
- Support long-range planning, portfolio management, and capacity planning for design
- Enable consistent ways of working while remaining flexible to team needs
- Balance strategic foresight with near-term execution
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 5–7 years of experience in design operations, program management, business operations, or a closely related role
- Demonstrated experience as a Coda administrator, including building complex docs, workflows, and automations
- Proven ability to operate independently and lead work end-to-end in ambiguous environments
- Strong program management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Track record of being a self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities and drives outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working in large, matrixed organizations
