Pay Range: $33 - $48/hour.  Competitive compensation based on experience.

• Biopsies
• Cryoablations
• Uterine Artery Embolization
• Prostate Embolization
• GI Bleed Embolization
• Thrombectomy
• Percutaneous Drain Placement
• Paracentesis & Thoracentesis
• Fistulagrams
• Electrophysiology: Pacemaker, Ablation, Cryo-ablation, Pulse Field Ablation
• Procedural Support: Assist radiologists and physicians during a wide range of interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Technical Expertise: Operate specialized fluoroscopy and imaging equipment, including GE units and Siemens biplane system. Prepare and maintain sterile fields.
• Patient Care: Provide compassionate care to patients before, during, and after procedures. Monitor patient condition and assist with positioning and comfort.
• Quality & Safety: Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards. Participate in quality assurance initiatives.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless procedural workflow.
• No Call Schedule: Enjoy a consistent schedule with no weekend call requirements.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Current ARRT-R (Radiography) certification
• Current BLS certification
• IR experience and procedures expertise
• Commitment to obtaining advanced IR certification within 2 years
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Previous experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Certification/Licensure:
• Current ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) certification required
• Must be certified in one of the following within two years of hire:
• ARRT-CI (Cardiac-Interventional)
• ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular-Interventional)
• ARRT-VI (Interventional Radiology)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure through Texas Medical Board required
• Skills: Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Work Shift & Schedule:Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Schedule: Full-time, 4/10-hour shifts
• About the Facility:Our client is a 131-bed, full-service hospital featuring:
• Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Certified Chest Pain Center
• Magnet recognition for nursing professionalism, teamwork, and superiority in patient care
• Department: Interventional Radiology
• 3 procedure suites
• 2 GE fluoroscopy units (soon to be upgraded to Phillips)
• Siemens biplane system
• 12 private room pre/post holding rooms
