Research & Development Engineer

Pay Range: $50 - $55.28/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities: -   

• Evaluate designs for manufacturability improvements and implement
• Develop robust processes that drive product and business goals
• Test products
• Pull data, analyze, and publish results
• Perform failure analysis using formal processes and communicate results
• Create documentation
• Communicate status to Leadership
• Train factory personnel as part of transition activities
• Travel within US and/ or internationally may be required - 10%

   
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; Process Improvement/Process Development, Six Sigma, Degree in Engineering (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chem. Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering) 
• Degree in Engineering (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chem. Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering)
• Must be a US Citizen due to program security requirements
• Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
• 1.5 years professional experience
