Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize tools like Datadog, Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL to build cost models and insights.
- Develop financial models, perform Total Cost of Ownership studies, and monitor service costs.
- Optimize infrastructure costs and manage cloud reservations.
- Deliver monthly billing and funding utilization reports.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills; Cloud financial , AWS, GCP, FinOps tools [Cloud Health, AWS Cost Explorer] , Datadog, Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Financial/Economics.
- Expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency with SQL and large datasets.
- Knowledge of FinOps tools (Cloud Health, AWS Cost Explorer).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- FinOps Foundation Certification.
- Cloud Provider Certifications.
- Experience in a FinOps-specific role.
