Materials Engineer

Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the development of next-generation optoelectronic materials through advanced design, fabrication, and analysis to validate new concepts and assess their potential impact.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Experience in experimental laboratory work, demonstrating the ability to translate and adapt concepts to a bench-top environment. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optical Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Chemistry
• Materials Science (with a focus on organic materials)
• Crystallization and Nucleation
• Solid State Analysis
• Optoelectrical Materials
