Key Responsibilities
- Marketplaces & Partner Strategy:
- PMF Overview: Develop and structure the processes used for partner selection and evaluation, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Market Segment Analysis & Geographic Guidance: Assist in the definition of strategy per partner segment and division. Define and classify partner segments (Integration, Marketplace/Platform, Clinical Partners, etc.). Lay the groundwork to help determine the success of ES in each domain.
- Marketplace Assessment: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for expanding or optimizing partner ecosystems.
- Operational Framework & Process:
- Framework Overview: Create comprehensive documentation outlining the partnership framework, including guidelines, roles, and responsibilities.
- Relationship Management: Codify the standard / typical relationship structures, management practices, and communication paths in alignment with key partners. Identify and address potential bottlenecks, conflicts, or dependencies.
- Portfolio Strategy: Assist in the creation of a “partner portfolio” that will support partner managers in segmenting and stratifying their partners. Assist with portfolios for R&D, market segment, value alignment, etc. Support the design and implementation of partner performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the partner portfolio.
- Governance Model: Outline decision-making processes and conflict resolution mechanisms.
- Risk Management: Define risk assessment criteria and processes to minimize business and partnership disruption.
- Partnership Lifecycle: Document the stages of the partnership lifecycle and design a framework to manage partner relations from initiation to renewal or termination.
- Performance Management: Define performance metrics and operational incentives for partner and partnership performance. Work across teams, functions, GO2, NODs in support of business-to-business and business-to-consumer metrics.
