Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using Client DataStage (v11.x or higher).
- Gather and analyze requirements, design ETL mappings, workflows, and pipelines.
- Perform data validation, optimization, and error handling for large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data delivery.
- Provide guidance and direction to offshore developers and act as the primary technical point of contact.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with data security policies.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in performance tuning efforts.
- Prepare technical documentation and support production deployment.
- Key Skills:IBM Datastage, ETL, SQL Server .
- 7–8 years of experience in Client DataStage development and ETL processes.
- Strong SQL knowledge with experience in relational databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2).
- Ability to lead and manage offshore teams .
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills .
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience with job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M) is a plus .
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data governance practices .
- Experience in banking or financial services domain.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data lake integration.
- Agile/Scrum methodology exposure.
