RN Pediatric ICU (PRN)
Immediate need for a talented RN Pediatric ICU (PRN). This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Marietta, GA(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $44 - $48/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- PRN | Night Shift
- Exemplary Practice & Outcomes
- Perform the nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation — ensuring individualized, safe, and evidence-based care.
- Provide relationship-based, family-centered care that respects diversity and developmental needs.
- Manage and oversee care for complex, high-acuity pediatric patients in critical condition.
- Conduct hourly patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and interpret neurological and hemodynamic data.
- Operate and manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and Oscillator systems.
- Assess and analyze cardiac rhythms (EKG) and arterial line waveforms.
- Titrate vasoactive, sedation, and insulin drips as needed.
- Perform and analyze bedside POCT (iSTAT, ABG/VBG) results.
- Assist with bedside procedures including intubations, LPs, arterial and central line placements, and chest tube insertions.
- Lead or support pediatric code responses using PALS protocols.
- Maintain sterile techniques and conduct dressing changes per policy.

- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, high-quality care and documentation.
- Participate in shared governance, performance improvement, and research initiatives.

- Maintain ongoing competency assessments and continuing education.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for peers and nursing students, modeling professional excellence and compassionate care.

- Adhere to clinical standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure quality and safety.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; BLS, experience as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (Single State or Compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required upon hire.
- Pediatric or Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a Pediatric ICU strongly desired.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Skilled in ventilator management, medication titration, and emergency response.
- Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, emotionally sensitive environment.
- Proficient in EMR documentation and clinical technology systems.
