Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex OB/GYN sonographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Conduct specialized Maternal Fetal Medicine imaging for high-risk pregnancies
- Obtain and document diagnostic-quality images for interpretation by Radiologists and MFM Specialists
- Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and provide appropriate care
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Less than 1 year of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (OB/GYN) – RDMS (OB)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Abdomen) – RDMS (AB)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (S)
- Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification within 1 year of hire OR
- Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification within 1 year of hire
