Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and customizations including forms, workflows, and business rules.
- Implement and maintain ServiceNow Discovery to automatically discover and map hardware and software assets in the organization’s environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ServiceNow with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms.
- Develop and manage ServiceNow modules related to Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to design and deploy solutions that meet business requirements.
- Participate in the development, testing, and deployment of ServiceNow upgrades and patches.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for ServiceNow related incidents.
- Ensure alignment of ServiceNow workflows with ITSM and IT Risk Management (ITRM) processes.
- Customize ServiceNow platform based on business needs, including scripting in Javascript and designing ServiceNow-specific features.
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions.
- Key Skills:ServiceNow Developer , Javascript , ServiceNow Discovery , AWS/ Azure / GCP , CMDB/ITAM , Software Development Life Cycle , ITSM and ITRM .
- ServiceNow Developer Experience: Strong experience with developing and customizing ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
- JavaScript: Proficiency in JavaScript, specifically for ServiceNow customizations, business rules, UI policies, and scripting.
- ServiceNow Discovery: In-depth experience in configuring and managing ServiceNow Discovery to ensure accurate asset and configuration management.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience integrating ServiceNow with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- CMDB/ITAM Expertise: Strong understanding of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) concepts, processes, and best practices.
- SDLC Knowledge: Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
- ITSM and ITRM: Experience implementing IT Service Management (ITSM) processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management, along with IT Risk Management (ITRM) practices.
- ServiceNow Certifications: Certified ServiceNow Developer or Certified ServiceNow System Administrator.
- Cloud Certifications: AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Integration Tools: Knowledge of integration tools like REST, SOAP, or MID Servers to interface ServiceNow with third-party applications.
- Experience with Agile Methodology: Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
