Python Developer

Pay Range: $50 - $58/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:  

• Top 3 skills: GRAPH ALGORITHMS, PYTHON, NETWORKING
• This position is for a Python person who has graph algorithm knowledge for network problem solving
• Python experience and MySQL knowledge
• Solid working knowledge of Python & MySQL
• Working knowledge of basic graph algorithms like Dijkstra, Breadth First Search, Depth First Search, A*
• Good knowledge of Linux environments to be able to independently run scripts
• Understanding of how transport network and routing network work together
• Basic understanding of routing protocols specifically BGP IGP (OSPF or ISIS)
• Prior working experience with network modeling tools like Cisco WAE, Cariden MATE, WANDL, Packetdesign, Network X is a bonus
• Ability to problem solve - think and break down complex problems quickly
• Open mindset to problem solve
• Open to new ideas and ready to change current ways of working if need be
• Sharing designs and walking solutions to various teams from designers to VPs - ability to communicate those solutions professionally
• Interview process -2 rounds; first a phone screen; 2nd round might be an in person interview but open to virtual interview for a Rockstar candidate
• Network planning and analysis; problem solving from a network perspective from modeling network to financials
