IT Operations Business Analyst

Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills: Disaster Recovery, AWS, Azure, Business Continuity, Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cloud-based DR solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure Site Recovery, Oracle OCI/OCVS).
• Strong familiarity IT Operations, including Data Center, Networking, and Network Security teams.
• Ability to assess Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Risk Assessments to identify operational vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain BCP and DR documentation, including runbooks and recovery workflows.
• Coordinate and execute DR tests and simulations; track results and remediation actions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to align recovery strategies with operational capabilities.
• Familiarity with compliance of internal policies and external regulations.
• Maintain dashboards and reports on BCP/DR readiness and performance metrics.
• Support vendor assessments and third-party continuity planning.
• Provide training and awareness to IT and business stakeholders on continuity protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional research and reporting skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
• Experience with continuity and recovery tools.
• 2-year college degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• Any Industry certifications (e.g., CBCP, CDRE, CRM, ITIL, PMP.
