Network Engineer IV

Pay Range: $65 - $70/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Cisco Network Engineer
• Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain networks supporting business applications, including both internal and external environments.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and document network issues, ensuring new products are properly installed, configured, and tested before moving to production.
• Security: Make decisions regarding network security, including data protection and encryption implementation.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance such as replacing legacy equipment and installing software patches.
• Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to users and training to employees on network technologies and protocols.
• Documentation: Document network operations with reports and diagrams to ensure clear communication and compliance.
• Planning: Collaborate with other departments to plan network upgrades and enhancements.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; Cisco, CCNP, Switching and Routing
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Cisco network installation, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Certifications: Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE required.
• Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of the broader technology portfolio, including data center, hardware, and software components.
• Industry Awareness: Demonstrated ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Team Player: Works well with others.
