Pay Range: $40 - $48/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit, managing conditions that require close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions, applying critical thinking and independent judgment to promote positive outcomes.
• Act as a patient advocate and educational resource, ensuring clear communication with patients, families, and the care team.
• Prioritize and coordinate daily patient flow to ensure a safe and effective patient experience.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-Registered Nurse (RN), RN Intermediate Care, RN Stepdown, RN PCU, RN Acute Care, BLS, ACLS
• Licensure: Active RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact).
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. ACLS is highly preferred for this level of care.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. Experience in an Intermediate Care, Stepdown, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is strongly preferred.
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Schedule: PRN, Various Shifts (flexible scheduling to meet departmental needs).
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
