Accounting Transaction Specialist

Pay Range: $20 - $23/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Work schedule:
“ON-SITE - this is an onsite position Monday through Friday while on contract, once the position is converted to a Full Time Employee then the role will move to a hybrid work schedule 3 days in the office / 2 days remote.”

Key Responsibilities:

• Looking for W2 candidates.
• Client is seeking a Junior Accounting Specialist with a demonstrated analytical capability to research information and identify errors, patterns, and data trends.
• This role will research credit card transactions and will need to utilize that analytical sense as part of reviewing those transactions.
• The ideal candidate is someone who either while in college recently, or recently in the work environment has demonstrable experience researching and analyzing data, in order to provide feedback and summaries based on the analyzation.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• The client is looking for a Junior-level person (1 to 5 years of career experience) who has proven to have analytical/research type of knowledge.
• Either be from college for a recent grad, or in the workplace (for example maybe a research assistant job or something)
• Accounting experience is nice to have but not required, and data entry is not as big of a skill for this particular role.
• This role will research and analyze credit card transaction data and look for trends and in accuracies
• Either a college degree OR 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Ideal college background includes classes and degree that requires a focus on performing research and reporting findings
• Ideal work experience includes 1 to 2 years in a role that requires researching through documents/data to determine and report findings.
• Accounting education or experience is NOT required but it is nice to have
