Pay Range: $65 - $68/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering & Operations
• Manage and support OpenShift / Kubernetes clusters (deployments, routing, RBAC, operators, resource tuning)
• Handle day-to-day environment stability, monitoring, and troubleshooting across infra and application layers
• Maintain lower and production-like environments to ensure consistency and reliability
• Perform server builds, rebuilds, and environment provisioning
• CI/CD & Automation
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools
• Build and manage deployment frameworks, image pipelines, and artifact promotion processes
• Develop automation using Ansible, Terraform, and reusable playbooks/roles
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) for scalable and repeatable deployments
• Developer Enablement & Support
• Partner with development teams to support application onboarding, deployment, and runtime troubleshooting
• Enable smooth adoption of platform standards, automation, and CI/CD practices
• Provide L3 support for production issues, deployments, and incident resolution
• Infrastructure & Middleware Management
• Support Linux-based environments (RHEL) and troubleshoot runtime issues
• Work with middleware technologies like Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, IIS, Apache
• Manage secrets, certificates, and secure communication (Vault, TLS, etc.)
• Observability & Reliability
• Implement logging, monitoring, and tracing solutions
• Perform defect triage, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of systems
• Collaboration & Release Management
• Work closely with Dev, SRE, Architecture, and Security teams
• Support release cycles, deployment activities, and change management
• Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and onboarding frameworks

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Core Technologies
• Kubernetes / OpenShift (OCP 4.x preferred)
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory
• Configuration & automation: Ansible, Terraform
• Strong scripting: Shell, Bash, Python
• Infrastructure & Systems
• Linux administration (RHEL)
• Containerization: Docker / Podman
• Git-based source control
• DevOps Practices
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Release management and environment lifecycle management
