Key Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains project management deliverables and artifacts (e.g., plans, schedules, budgets, resource staffing, vendor management).
- Secures staffing and facilitates resource on-boarding to the project encouraging development and versatility.
- Documents project scope, requirements, work breakdown structures, and follows formal change management processes for scope changes.
- Provides written feedback on peer and project team performance.
- Provides transparent, verbal, and written project status and updates to project stakeholders.
- Monitors vendor performance and escalates performance concerns to management.
- Mentors and coaches others to enhance professional and technical skills.
- Collaborates with IT Control on Client expenditures, vendor, and procurement management.
- Conducts post implementation reviews and provides feedback on standards.
- When functioning as Iteration Management, delivers project objectives through structured planning and iterative delivery by following Progressive's Software Development Methodology.
- Project objectives include improving the quality, increasing the velocity of software delivery, and collaborating with stakeholders and project teams to continually improve practices through recommendations of Agile and Lean methods.
- Able to work assigned schedule subject to Progressive's flexible schedule policies and practices.
- Ability to work variable and flexible hours, such as nights, weekends, and holidays in response to business needs.

- Key Skills:Data Centre migration, Infrastructure management.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or IT discipline and a minimum of four years related experience leading or facilitating formalized IT projects in application development, process, or infrastructure.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience leading or facilitating formalized IT projects in application development, process, or infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead large and complex projects.
- Knowledge of Project Management industry, project management methodologies and software development methodology (e.g., ISO 9000, ITIL, PRINCE2, PMBOK).
- Knowledge of project management scheduling, iteration management tools, and/or productivity tools.
- Familiar with project RICED repositories.
- Organizational skills with the ability to execute project objectives through to completion and motivate others to complete deliverables and meet project expectations.
- Ability to work remotely from your project team and/or stakeholders.
- Seeks and uses objective information to analyze the issue, separating the people from the problem, come up with creative options, considers risks, considers impact to others, and implement a solution with confidence.
- Negotiation skills to find successful resolutions for complex and/or unique issues.
- Ability to resolve or mitigate conflict involving project team members and/or stakeholders.
- Ability to delegate responsibilities and tasks.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to provide guidance and make decisions based on incomplete or partial data or information, possessing a high tolerance for ambiguity.
- Coaching skills and ability to assist others in learning new technical and professional capabilities.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communications skills.
- Formal presentation and facilitation skills with an ability to deliver to various levels of the organization.
