Data Analyst

Pyramid Consulting, Inc Washington, DC (Onsite) Full-Time

Pay Range:$78k/Annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with executives and other business leaders to identify the requirements and improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information.
  • Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  •  Key Skills:Data Analyst, SQL AND Excel
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics, technology, or other related field is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in analysis in a business environment.
  • Experience in understanding business requirements and translating them for developers.
  • Process-oriented, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Extraordinary desire to learn and learning agility.
  • Experience presenting results to clients, both internal and external.
  • Advanced experience manipulating and exploring data.
  • Experience working on creating a Data Dictionary.
  • Work experience in source schema mapping (reverse engineering)
  • Experience in establishing Data Governance and Stewardship Standards.
  • Experience in JIRA Story writing, technical requirements, documentation
  • Knowledge of reporting and analysis tools.
  • Data Policy /Procedure creation.
  • Experience writing complex SQL & PL/SQL queries.
  • Experience formatting and manipulating data in Excel.
  • Robust curiosity and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong skills with multiple analytic techniques/methods.
  • Experience with Snowflake and Talend tools is a plus.
