Field Technician

Pay Range: $43 - $48/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the proper operation of a large group of Network Elements.
• Duties in support of interdepartmental objectives, to support the activation of new sites and integration of network hardware and interconnect facilities.
• Other responsibilities include testing and analyzing network coverage to ensure contiguous communication and network integrity and quality; updating daily logs with site-specific information; composing clear and concise reports for system documentation; and performing activation tasks as required by Local, Regional, Area, Corporate or Regulatory agencies

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Telecom connectivity design, HVAC, Troubleshooting
• Familiar with telecom connectivity designs and able to troubleshoot as required - 1-3 years.
• Computer skills - able to use applications to monitor the network and communicate to other teams and vendors. 3-5 years
• Building system knowledge - understand power and HVAC systems enough to work with vendors to resolve issues - 1 - 3 years
