Data engineer

Pay Range: $110000 - $120000/annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic Business Intelligence team.
- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient data flow and accessibility for analysis, decision-making, and internal data processes.
- Must possess a deep understanding of designing, implementing, and maintaining complex data systems.
- Must be familiar with different types of data storage, including SQL Server and/or Oracle.
- Skills-Must have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience as Data engineer, proficient in coding on Python, Power BI, ETL and AWS or Azure Cloud.
- Proven experience as Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems, either SQL Server and/or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data quality, metadata management, and performance tuning.
- Experience with dimensional models.
- General knowledge of Power BI and other reporting tools (Crystal Reports, SSRS).
- Experience with ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Client Cloud).
- Knowledge of languages such as Bash scripting and Python (including common data libraries) preferred.
- Familiarity with VSCode, version control and devops concepts preferred.
