Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized perioperative patient care
• Perform the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice
• Provide patient-centered and culturally competent care
• Partner with patients and families through education, updates, and care planning
• Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in shared governance
• Support quality improvement, performance initiatives, and research utilization
• Serve as a preceptor/mentor to nurses, staff, or students as needed
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with resource utilization, protocol development, and care coordination

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Must Have Skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Strong perioperative / clinical nursing expertise
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Proficiency with EMR/documentation and basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to respond calmly and decisively in emergency situations
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
