Pay Range: $42/hour - $58/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Leadership: Provide continuous leadership and serve as a clinical resource for the ED nursing team. Coordinate patient assignments, manage patient flow, and facilitate effective communication among the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Care Coordination: Oversee the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based nursing care. Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards of practice, including those specific to emergency and trauma care.
• Team Development: Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Assist with the orientation of new employees and contribute to ongoing staff education.
• Quality & Safety: Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and patient safety standards. Assist in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Resource Management: Ensure the appropriate utilization of nursing and clinical resources, manage supplies efficiently, and assist with maintaining a safe and organized care environment.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN License in the State of Georgia or Multi-State Compact (RN-COMPACT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Required within 180 Days:
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Required within 18 Months:
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Required: Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience, preferably within an Emergency Department setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in prioritizing tasks, delegating responsibilities, and managing complex patient situations.
• Proficiency in using technology and electronic health records to support care delivery
